Volunteer Perks
The fine print: Event takes place at the Nepean Sportsplex in Ottawa on Saturday March 22nd and Sunday March 23rd. We are looking for volunteers for set-up day (Friday, March 21st as well as on the weekend).
During your breaks, your volunteer badge will give you access to the event all weekend (for free) plus a discount at participating vendor booths such as Geeked Out and Cheeky Treats. We will provide a list of the vendors providing discounts to our volunteers!
If you are only working a Friday or Saturday shift but want to come back on Sunday to shop and enjoy the event, we will provide you with an event bracelet that will get you in for FREE.
We will provide lunch on Saturday and Sunday only. Snacks and drinks will be available in the volunteer headquarters for you to enjoy during your breaks. * Friday volunteers, please come prepared with a lunch/supper or tell us you need a break to go and get something to eat. We promise we are easy to work with.
