ACTRA performer Michael Chan is known for his work in Star Trek: Discovery, SurrealEstate, Murdoch Mysteries, The Hardy Boys and as Alex Chang in the YTV/BBC series Popularity Papers. Beyond acting, Michael is active in the horror community as host of the podcast Heard Noise, Must Investigate, and has earned international festival recognition for his award-winning micro short The ONLY Asian. Through acting and filmmaking, he continues to build a strong presence in sci-fi, horror and independent film.

​Ronn Sutton, artist
Veteran comic artist Ronn Sutton has been creating comics since the early 1970s, with a career spanning hundreds of titles including The Man From U.N.C.L.E., The Phantom, Honey West and Fear Agent. Best known for his horror work, Sutton pencilled nearly 50 issues of Elvira and also worked on comics featuring Vampira, Draculina and Vampress Luxura.
A respected name in Canadian comics, Sutton was inducted into the Joe Shuster Canadian Comic Book Creators Hall of Fame in 2022.

A local comics writer/artist, screenwriter, producer and animator. For six years, under Claypool Comics, Janet scripted Elvira, Mistress of the Dark comic book. She has written for movies, including the retro sci-fi script Galaxy Warriors. Her work appears in the best-selling comics anthology: Gothic Tales of Haunted Love.
With a career rooted in imaginative worlds and genre storytelling, Janet Hetherington is a creator whose work spans the eerie, the dramatic and the cosmic!

Ottawa-based filmmaker, Brett Kelly, is a prolific force in the world of cult horror and sci-fi, often dubbed “Canada’s Roger Corman” for his bold, high-output approach to independent filmmaking.
With over 40 films to his name, Brett Kelly has built a reputation for creating imaginative, low-budget genre movies packed with creatures, chaos and unmistakable retro flair. His work includes titles like Ouija Shark, My Fair Zombie, Nanoshark and Ghastlies, along with other fan-favourite creature features that have gained a loyal following.
