To wrap up the year, Geeked Out Events is proud to present "Geeking Out For The Holidays: Ottawa's Geekiest Gift & Craft Show." Our goal is to create a fun and imaginative space where geeks can gather for the ultimate year-end celebration! We're calling on crafters, artisans, and creators to join us with your geek inspired creations. We are also inviting select vendors who sell brand new products (limited to certain categories and taking up only 20% of the event space). Our collective mission is to assist fellow geeks in finding the perfect gifts for family, friends, co-workers, and neighbours.
Geeking Out For The Holidays will happen in Halls A&B at the Nepean Sportsplex (Entrance 3 at the back of the building). Admission to the general public will be $2.00 (kids 12 and under will get in free). Over 75 tables brimming with the geekiest selection of art, creations, and geeky gift ideas.
Vendor spots are by the table space only. Tables are provided and measure 6 feet in length (x 2.5 feet in depth). There will be approximately 4 feet behind your table to stand. You can bring a SMALL shelf if you wish to put behind your table, but you must be mindful of fellow vendors who will need to get in and out from behind your table. Those who rent two or more tables spaces will have the option of removing one or all tables and in their place use shelves or a gridwall option. It is very important to note, that you can only do so, if 1.) you're taking two or more table spaces and 2.) you leave yourself room to stand BEHIND your spot to serve customers.
Power: we are discouraging asking for power. If you MUST have power, please note it on the registration form below and give us your reasoning why. Having vendors use power for this kind of event means we will have power cords running behind tables where other vendors could be walking, creating tripping hazards.
Show Date: Sunday, November 30th from 10am-4pm. Set-up times are still being decided, but we will give a minimum of 2 hours on Saturday evening and 2 hours in the morning on Sunday. More info to come in our vendor guide which is typically sent out to vendors 7-10 days prior to the event.
Costs: Prices are subject to HST. $50 per 6-foot table (tables are included and measure 6 feet x 30 inches).
Placement on the floor plan: If you scroll down WAY to the bottom of this page you will see a floor plan (subject to change). You will not be able to choose your spot on the floor plan, but we wanted to show you what it will roughly look like! The red arrows indicate where the customers will walk.
Two easy steps to register and guarantee your spot: 1.) Fill out this registration form, and wait for us to send you an invoice (typically this will be within 24-48 hours). 2.) Make payment for your spot. Payment MUST be received before we will confirm your spot.
