Terms:
  1. I understand that each vendor, regardless of the number of booths I have, will receive 2 vendor passes to the event.  If I need more than 1 helper, I will be required to pay an extra $5.00 admission for each day they come to help out.  I understand that I can order these passes in advance and my helpers or customers I choose to give them too will be allowed to bypass any line-up and come straight to the admission table.  I understand I will be required to give their names to Geeked Out Events at least 5 days prior to the event so that they can put them on their guest list and have their passes ready for them.  I understand that if I choose to not order the passes in advance, they are still available to purchase from the admission desk prior to the event starting, but am encouraged to order them in advance when possible.  The above does not apply to set-up. You can have as many people helping you as you wish for set up and tear down, but these are helpers and not permitted to shop early during set-up times.
  2. Registration is non-transferable to anyone else without the prior consent from the organizers of Geeked Out Events.  I understand that if I need to cancel my registration I am not guaranteed a spot at the next event, but my name will go to the top of the waiting list and Geeked Out Events will work hard to get us back in as vendors.
  3. I have read the cancelation and refund policy (as seen on the Vendor Registration info page).
  4. Due to limited space for new vendors, if you have a vendor friend or artisan who'd like to join Geeked Out Events, you may include them within your booth space.  We ask that you get them pre-approved through us first.
  5. I agree to not sell any fakes or reproductions (this includes, but not limited to: Lego, Funkos, video games, 3D printed China knock offs, etc).  Freedom of art is allowed, so long as your art is not a direct copy using 3D printing and does not encroach on intellectual properties (example: you cannot 3D print a lego mini figure and then paint it a different colour or turn it in to a keychain or jewelry piece - what IS allowed: taking an authentic LEGO mini figure and making it into a necklace).  Artisans: Absolutely NO art to be sold that uses Artificial Intelligence (doing so, will result in a ban at future events).  Any art must be made by you or have permission to sell from the original artist.  If you are selling art by another artist, please put a sign at your table to state this and give them credit.
  6. I agree to stay within my allotted space and will not encroach on my neighbours booths or into the aisles where customers would be walking. I will keep my booth clean and my products easily accessible for customers (no tripping hazards, etc).  I also understand there will not be space between booths or behind them and will plan my set-up accordingly so I allow myself room to get in and out of my own booth.   I understand that it is mandatory to have tablecloths on my tables.  If I need any, I am aware I can rent some when I sign up for the event or by emailing Geeked Out Events prior to the event.
  7. I will NOT pack up earlier than the closing time of the event (4pm on Sunday).  Doing so, I understand, I will not be invited back for future events.
  8. I will read over the Vendor Guide that will be sent out 2 weeks prior to the event, from start to finish, before asking any questions.  This guide will be a great tool to every question you might have about set-up and what to expect before, during and after the event.  Any questions or concerns, we encourage you to email us - we guarantee we are easy to work with but we also expect our vendors to do some work themselves as well which includes reading over material we send out.
  9. Marketing:  Not only encouraged, but it is mandatory to help us spread the word.  We understand not everyone has social media (or uses it often), but you likely have friends, family, customers you can help spread the word too.  VERY IMPORTANT:  Do not create your own event page on Facebook.  Use the one we have created!  If you own / run a physical store or will be attending other events, we can get you some handouts for your customers (just ask us and we will get them to you).
